About the role

Our Product team is responsible for developing, creating, and launching new features that drive the Tiendanube ecosystem, in collaboration with Design and Engineering teams. In the Catalog team, your mission will be to manage the core of our platform, ensuring that the data structure and catalog services are scalable, robust, and prepared to support the growth of thousands of merchants across Latin America. You will work in a high-complexity technical environment, acting as the strategic link connecting business needs with backend engineering and architecture solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy and roadmap for the Catalog product, ensuring platform decisions align with Tiendanube’s long-term vision.
  • Act as a technical partner to the Engineering team, leading in-depth discussions on architecture and functionalities, ensuring product and design are part of the decision-making process.
  • Conduct technical research processes, validating hypotheses and anticipating bottlenecks that may affect ecosystem scalability.
  • Identify friction points and opportunities in product management, prioritizing deliveries that generate the most value for merchants and partners.
  • Communicate and align stakeholders at different levels, translating complex technical challenges into clear narratives of business impact and value.
  • Ensure the consistency and scalability of APIs and catalog services, working closely with Platform and Engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in product management for SaaS platforms or large-scale systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge, with familiarity in microservices architectures, APIs, and complex data modeling.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate, demonstrating resilience to challenge and be challenged by high-level technical teams.
  • Analytical and data-driven profile, with the ability to make evidence-based decisions and measure success through clear KPIs.
  • A systemic and business-oriented vision, balancing technical excellence, delivery speed, and customer impact.
  • Experience managing roadmaps in uncertain and highly complex scenarios (from scratch or at scale).

Benefits

  • OSDE 310 health coverage for your family (spouse + children).
  • 100% covered Portuguese classes.
  • Internet service reimbursement.
  • Discounts on Coderhouse courses.
  • Childcare assistance to support collaborators in providing a safe environment for their children from 45 days to 3 years old during your workday.
  • Extended family leave: 21 consecutive days for non-gestating or adopting parents.
  • 15 business days of vacation per year.
  • An additional week off at the end/beginning of the year to recharge.
  • A free Tiendanube store for you or someone in your network.
  • Remote-first approach, prioritizing remote work within the country of hire, where the role permits.

About Tiendanube

Tiendanube was born with a grand purpose: to empower brands to own their channel, data, and customer relationships. We believe real entrepreneurship isn’t built on someone else’s platform—it’s built with autonomy, a unique presence, and recurring revenue that belongs to the brand, not an intermediary. Our ambition is to be the obvious choice for all brands that want to grow with autonomy—from the first store to those scaling millions. To achieve this, we build the most complete e-commerce ecosystem in Latin America: integrated, natively developed solutions that absorb the complexity of commerce from end to end.

Being among the best requires commitment, focus, and resilience on a path that is inherently long. We understand that only those passionate about their work can thrive in our dynamic. If you seek comfort, easy solutions, or well-trodden paths—and believe rewards come before results—Tiendanube isn’t for you. But if you crave innovation, recognize the need for continuous adaptation, value autonomy, strive for excellence that adds real value to customers, and want to be in an environment that constantly challenges you, then you’re in the right place.
