About the role

Jill, our AI Recruiter, is recruiting for this Senior Product Engineer position on behalf of a Seed-stage PropTech startup founded by MIT alumni with $1M ARR.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical architecture for an AI-powered operating system for commercial real estate.
  • Build full-stack features using Python and TypeScript.
  • Design complex data pipelines to unify disparate sources using orchestration tools like Dagster or Airflow.
  • Develop real-time collaborative tools that enable brokers and investors to manage billions in physical assets efficiently.
  • Drive full-stack architecture and technical direction across backend, frontend, and data services.
  • Build and ship multiplayer, real-time synchronization features and AI-agent workflows to enhance user collaboration and data analysis.

Requirements

  • Proven experience designing and shipping full-stack applications with heavy data model manipulation in Python, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
  • Tech expertise in building data pipelines, handling geospatial data (PostGIS/GeoJSON), and optimizing complex queries for speed.
  • A craftsperson's mindset with a history of driving technical strategy at early-stage startups or as a former founder.

Qualifications

  • High ownership of product and technical decisions.
  • Significant equity upside in a rapidly growing startup.
  • Direct influence on the product roadmap and technical foundation.
  • High-autonomy environment with significant autonomy over tasks and projects.

Skills

  • Full-stack development skills in Python and TypeScript.
