Senior Product Designer ($160k-$220k + Equity) at well-funded AI agent orchestration startup

About the role

This is a senior product designer position within a well-funded AI agent orchestration startup based in San Francisco, USA.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of a complex platform enabling founders to run entire companies through AI agent departments.
• Solve the chaos of fragmented AI tools by translating natural language instructions into coordinated task execution.
• Define human-AI interaction patterns for the next generation of business infrastructure.
• Own the end-to-end design for complex orchestration flows, human-in-the-loop approvals, and layered memory systems.
• Work directly with the founder and engineering team to ship fast and define a cohesive product vision.
• Lead the creation of a robust design system and motion interactions that simplify technical complexity for users.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience designing complex B2B SaaS workflows, dashboards, and multi-step configuration tools.
• A strong UX research practice with a portfolio that articulates clear tradeoffs and measurable product impact.
• The ability to thrive in high-ambiguity environments and possess the craft skills to elevate interaction design through motion and systems thinking.

Qualifications

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a passion for creating intuitive user experiences.
• Experience with modern design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, etc.
• Understanding of user-centered design principles and iterative design processes.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Skills

• Expertise in user interface design and interaction design.
• Knowledge of human-computer interaction (HCI) and usability principles.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible designs.
• Experience with agile methodologies and rapid prototyping.
