Senior Product Consultant (Intellectual Property)

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Product Consultant (Intellectual Property) to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space. This role will lead complex pre-sales and solution consulting efforts within the intellectual property domain, partnering closely with senior leaders to shape consulting strategy and improve service delivery. The position requires strong client-facing expertise and the ability to translate customer needs into effective consulting outcomes. In addition, the consultant will mentor team members, strengthen internal processes, and help ensure accurate documentation and ongoing customer advocacy.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple complex pre-sales and solution consulting projects, overseeing product consulting activities to drive successful outcomes.
• Define and implement consulting strategies to improve service delivery and align with organizational objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement in product consulting processes and methodologies for greater efficiency.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to influence consulting direction.
• Document and maintain accurate records of client interactions, requirements, and feedback.
• Advocate for customer needs in strategic discussions and negotiations.
• Mentor and guide consultants in project execution and customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 7+ years of intellectual property experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a client-facing role.
• Experience working as an IP Paralegal preferred.
• Salesforce experience preferred.
• Demonstrated presentation or demo experience preferred.
• Previous experience in an IP consulting role preferred.

Pay

$120,000 – $155,000 annually
