Responsibilities
- API Product Expertise and Client Enablement
- Serve as the primary product team subject matter expert for APIs across the ICS/BBD product portfolio.
- Develop deep expertise in API functionality, integration workflows, data structures, authentication methods, connectivity requirements, and implementation best practices.
- Support new client onboarding efforts by providing product and technical guidance throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Partner with clients to understand integration requirements and ensure successful adoption of Broadridge API capabilities.
- Support strategic client initiatives requiring API connectivity across multiple products and workflows.
- Client Implementations and Integration Support
- Support implementation planning, testing coordination, issue resolution, and production readiness activities.
- Troubleshoot integration challenges and work closely with engineering and support teams to identify and resolve issues.
- Aid in managing implementation risks, dependencies, and client expectations throughout the onboarding process.
- Developer Experience and API Adoption
- Partner with Product Managers and Engineering teams to improve API consistency, documentation quality, onboarding processes, and integration tooling.
- Provide product feedback based on client implementation experiences to influence future roadmap priorities.
- Product and Technical Analysis
- Gather, document, and analyze client requirements related to API integrations, workflow automation, and connectivity solutions.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering teams to define API enhancements, new capabilities, and future-state architecture requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve API usability, onboarding experiences, developer documentation, and client self-service capabilities.
- Support roadmap planning by providing insights gathered through client interactions and implementation activities.
- Documentation and Knowledge Management
- Ensure product documentation remains current and aligned with platform capabilities and roadmap priorities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Product Management, Technology, Operations, Service, Sales, Client Delivery, and Client Success teams.
- Serve as a liaison between technical and business stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment.
- Communicate implementation risks, dependencies, and opportunities to product leadership and stakeholders.
- Risk, Controls, and Regulatory Alignment
- Ensure API implementation practices align with security, compliance, operational control, and resiliency requirements.
- Maintain awareness of industry standards, security best practices, and regulatory considerations relevant to client connectivity solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in API integrations, solutions consulting, implementation leadership, technical product management, or related technical disciplines.
- Working knowledge of REST APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger specifications, OAuth, SSO, authentication and authorization frameworks, JSON, XML, and modern integration patterns.
- Ability to understand application architecture, data flows, APIs, database concepts, and software development principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical integration issues and collaborate effectively with engineering teams to identify root causes and solutions.
- Experience supporting client onboarding, implementations, integrations, or technical consulting engagements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within financial services, fintech, market infrastructure, investor communications, securities processing, or related regulated industries.
- Exposure to legal, compliance, customer communications, class actions, proxy, corporate actions, or related servicing workflows.
- Exposure to blockchain, digital assets, cryptocurrency, tokenization, distributed ledger technology, or real-world asset (RWA) initiatives.
Pay
The salary range for this position is between $115,000.00- $135,000.00 USD. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education. Bonus Eligibility: Bonus Eligible.
