Job Summary

The Senior Product Analyst at Assured plays a crucial role in helping the Product and Engineering teams make better decisions by turning product data into meaningful insights. This role involves defining metrics and evaluation frameworks for AI-powered experiences, designing and analyzing experiments to measure product value, building dashboards for product health, and revealing customer needs through cohort analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Measure the success of AI-powered experiences by defining metrics and evaluation frameworks.
  • Design and analyze experiments to help Product teams understand what creates value for customers.
  • Build dashboards and reporting that give Product and Engineering teams visibility into feature adoption, product performance, and customer outcomes.
  • Define how we measure success in an AI-first product by developing metrics and evaluation frameworks.
  • Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and Designers to frame problems, evaluate tradeoffs, and make better decisions before roadmaps are finalized.
  • Uncover meaningful patterns and opportunities for improvement using cohort analysis, segmentation, and behavioral data.
  • Bring clarity to ambiguity by starting with questions and determining what needs to be measured, analyzed, or built to find answers.

Requirements

  • Use data to drive decisions with a track record of answering complex product questions, designing meaningful analyses or experiments, and influencing what gets built next.
  • Have strong analytical fundamentals including SQL and experience with modern analytics platforms like Mixpanel, Deepnote, AWS, Python, R, or application instrumentation.
  • Communicate with clarity, explaining analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences and helping teams make informed decisions.
  • Enjoy solving ambiguous problems, starting with a question rather than predefined datasets, and determining what needs to be measured, analyzed, or built to find the answer.
  • Learn tools quickly and adapt to new technologies, bringing experience with AI and modern analytics tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in product analytics or a related field.
  • Experience with SQL and modern analytics platforms.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with cohort analysis, segmentation, and behavioral data.
