About the role

The Senior Producer, Social Media leads the planning, creation, and optimization of social-first content across platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook and YouTube. This role independently creates content while providing editorial guidance and project leadership to Producers and Associate Producers, ensuring all content aligns with our brand voice and strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead social media content projects, offering guidance, support, and feedback to Producers and Associate Producers within the Social Media team while contributing to a collaborative environment.
• Plan, prepare, optimize, and publish YouTube content and livestreams while providing feedback and support to Producers and Associate Producers.
• Create and maintain high-quality engaging content, including graphics and video, for social media platforms.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and collaborate with editorial teams to ensure that content aligns with overall brand voice.
• Interact with Spectrum Networks talent in a professional manner.
• Uses a combination of editorial judgment and performance metrics to effectively post on social media platforms.
• Track and support the regular posting schedule of content and editorial pieces across key social media accounts, as directed.
• Stay up to date on social media trends and best practices to ensure that content stays innovative and relevant.
• Review social metrics and adjust content to optimize to viewer interests.
• Work with Associate Producers and Producers to maintain the highest degree of quality and ethical standards in presentation of material.

Requirements

The role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, X – including social media video editing tools.
• Deep knowledge and experience in shooting social media video content on iPhone.
• Proven ability to lead projects from concept ideation through posting and analytics.
• Experience working with talent and/or content creators.
• Expert knowledge of social media platforms.
• Attention to detail.
• Knowledge of current events and industry trends.
• Demonstrated proficiency at multi-tasking and ability to prioritize, work independently and meet strict deadlines.
• Effective writing and editing skills.
• Pro-active, self-directed, enthusiastic in dealing with breaking news and high-stress situations.
• Familiarity with publishing workflows, including experience with a content management system.

Skills

• Ability to tell engaging stories in the social media space through video assets, photos, graphics, etc.

Benefits

A comprehensive pay and benefits package that rewards employees for their contributions to our success, supporting all aspects of their well-being at every stage of life. Base pay for this position generally is between $75,200.00 and $120,000.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.

Schedule

Works primarily inside a climate-controlled environment throughout the year but might be assigned field duties on occasion. Ability to work various shifts, longer shifts, weekends and holidays, and be flexible with schedule changes due to "breaking news," sports coverage, and/or severe weather emergencies.
