About the role
- Develop, implement, and manage equipment sourcing strategies—from identifying supply chain partners to ensuring materials are received on site, including expediting orders.
- Act as a strategic partner and maintain alignment with business partners, including client technical teams, to support agreed strategies.
- Lead the decision-making process and make award recommendations based on expert market knowledge.
- Evaluate bids to determine the best overall value, reviewing quotations and proposals against specifications and terms.
- Manage bid requests and contract developments with rigorous attention to detail, collaborating with legal and finance teams as needed.
- Develop statements of work, performance terms, and Service Level Agreements for projects.
- Utilize client-specific procurement systems and processes, ensuring compliance with all stage gate approvals.
- Review procurement practices to ensure compliance with relevant laws.
- Identify and drive innovation in procurement and supply chain processes using expert knowledge.
Requirements
- 10+ years of procurement experience with increasing leadership responsibilities.
- Experience in a construction environment within the pharmaceutical/medical device sectors or an EPC background in the oil and gas sector.
- A degree in procurement, supply chain management, or a related discipline.
- CIPS certification or progress toward completion (support provided).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commercial mindset to build balanced solutions and recommendations.
- Ability to build positive relationships with teams and clients through openness and collaboration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $108,000 to $145,067, with the actual offer dependent on experience, skill set, and education.
