Senior Procurement Lead

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage equipment sourcing strategies, from identification of supply chain partners through to receipt of materials on site, including expediting of orders.
- Understand industry trends, identify gaps, and recommend actions to ensure support of the business.
- Act as a strategic partner and maintain alignment with business partners, including client technical teams, to ensure ongoing support of the strategies agreed.
- Lead the decision-making process and make recommendations on awards based on expert market knowledge.
- Gather commodity- and product-specific market intelligence, including but not limited to price trends, industry capacity, and supplier strategies.
- Own the evaluation of bids to determine the best overall value, reviewing quotations and proposals against specifications and terms and conditions.
- Manage various bid requests and contract developments with rigorous attention to detail, partnering with legal and finance teams when needed.
- Develop statements of work, performance terms, and Service Level Agreements for the project.
- Monitor and manage supplier performance, ensuring continuity of supply and risk mitigation activities.
- Utilize client-specific procurement systems and processes as required, ensuring compliance with all stage gate approvals.
- Review procurement practices on an ongoing basis to ensure compliance with relevant laws.
- Use expert knowledge to identify and drive innovation in the procurement and supply chain process.
Requirements
- 10+ years of procurement experience with increasing levels of leadership.
- Experience in a construction environment within the pharmaceutical/medical device sectors or from an EPC background in the oil and gas sector.
- A degree in a procurement or supply chain management-related discipline.
- CIPS certification or working toward completion (support provided).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commercial mindset to build balanced solutions and recommendations.
- Ability to thrive on building positive relationships with your team and clients through a shared purpose and sense of openness and fun.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay
The salary range for this role is between $108,000 and $145,067, with the actual salary offered dependent on experience, skill set, and education.
