The Senior Procurement Analyst is responsible for supporting strategic sourcing initiatives across electrical, electronic, and electromechanical categories while delivering measurable cost savings, supplier performance improvements, and supply chain risk mitigation. Their organization fosters an entrepreneurial environment where employees are empowered to make an impact, collaborate across functions, and contribute to strategic initiatives that drive long-term growth and performance.Description Strategic Sourcing & Category Management Support the development and execution of sourcing strategies across electrical, electronic, and electromechanical commodity categories.Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities through supplier consolidation, competitive sourcing events, and strategic supplier partnerships.Lead and coordinate RFQ/RFP activities to ensure competitive pricing and optimal supplier selection.Analyze supplier quotations and provide recommendations based on total cost, quality, delivery, risk, and strategic alignment.Support contract development and supplier agreement negotiations to protect organizational interests.Partner with engineering, operations, and product development teams to support new product introduction (NPI) initiatives and sourcing decisions.Drive supplier performance improvements through ongoing evaluation and collaboration. Data Analytics & Reporting Analyze procurement, spend, supplier, and market data to identify savings opportunities, supply risks, and business insights.Consolidate and validate data from multiple ERP systems and external sources to support sourcing decisions.Develop reports, dashboards, and analytical models that support category strategies and procurement initiatives.Maintain data integrity through cleansing, standardization, and reporting best practices.Present data-driven recommendations to procurement leadership and key stakeholders. Supplier & Risk Management Support supplier segmentation and preferred supplier programs.Monitor supplier performance, financial stability, capacity, and operational risks.Identify and mitigate risks related to supply shortages, lead times, sole sourcing, and market disruptions.Work collaboratively with suppliers to improve cost competitiveness, quality, and service levels. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.ProfileA successful Sr. Procurement Analyst, Electrical/Electronics should have: Required Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field.Minimum 3+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, or operations.Experience supporting direct material sourcing initiatives within a manufacturing environment.Knowledge of one or more of the following categories: Electronic ComponentsPCBAs (Printed Circuit Board Assemblies)Electrical ComponentsWire HarnessesCablesElectromechanical ComponentsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Preferred Degree concentration in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related technical discipline.Experience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE), and cost optimization initiatives.Experience using Power BI or other business intelligence tools.Exposure to global sourcing and supplier management practices.Experience working with ERP systems and procurement analytics platforms.Willingness to travel as needed.
