Senior Process Improvement/Process Re-Engineering Consultant

About the role

Provides consulting and recommendations to senior managers on the implementation of process improvement initiatives. Develops, leads discovery sessions, planning meetings, training sessions, and facilitates process improvement meetings. Proposes, tailors, and develops quality/process re-engineering improvement efforts (to include the applicable documentation) to provide return-on-investment or operational improvement. Leads and conducts benchmarking, activity modeling, and surveys. Works with technical subject matter experts.

Responsibilities

• Develops and leads discovery sessions, planning meetings, training sessions, and facilitates process improvement meetings
• Proposes, tailors, and develops quality/process re-engineering improvement efforts (including applicable documentation)
• Leads and conducts benchmarking, activity modeling, and surveys
• Works with technical subject matter experts

Requirements

• Experience in process improvement, six-sigma, CMM, CMMI, ISO 9000/1, or related process improvement methods
• Manages a team of consultants and analysts supporting process improvement and quality training efforts

Qualifications

• 10 years of IT experience, including 3 years of process improvement or quality assurance experience
• Four-year degree, or equivalent experience (additional 4 years of experience can be substituted for this degree)
