Senior Process Engineer

About the role

The Senior Process Engineer is responsible for the process and design of all aspects of process engineering for mineral and chemical process plants. This includes scoping through detailed engineering and executing plans, performing process modeling, conducting bias test analysis, and proposal development.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for process and design of all aspects of Process Engineering for Mineral and Chemical Process plants.
• Responsible for scoping through detailed engineering and execution of plans.
• Perform Process Modeling (Mineral and chemical plants) for client projects.
• Process Engineering and Design, equipment sizing and selection, review of plant layout.
• Review of other Engineering deliverables for a project and interpreting and discussing with relevant stakeholders.
• Bias Test analysis and determination of Bias/non-Bias results.
• Proposal Development which includes cost estimating, review of technical and commercial content.
• Project Management of all aspects of projects from start to finish, making and decisions as appropriate.

Qualifications

• B.S. Mining or Process Engineering Required
• M.S./Mining or Process Engineering Required
• 10 years of experience in Mining or Process Engineering Required
• Registered Professional Engineer
• Qualified Person as defined by NI 43-101 (designation)
