Senior Principal Technical Solution Architect

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and select robotic software frameworks and developer SDKs
• Drive a platform strategy for modular reuse of application logic
• Define integration of AI components and agentic systems into robot applications
• Ensure deployed solutions meet operational reliability and security standards
• Lead and mentor a fast-moving startup development team

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of Navigation & Localization (SLAM, Nav2), Manipulation & Motion Planning (MoveIt2), and Robot Middleware
• Proven experience designing cyber-physical systems under constraints such as compute limitations and battery optimization
• Advanced architectural design expertise in C++ (17/20) and Python
• Strong mastery of Linux (specifically Ubuntu/Debian) and containerized deployments
• 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams in startup or robotics environments
• 8+ years in robotics, autonomous systems, or industrial automation

Pay

• $192,500 – $290,000 annually
