Senior Principal Consultant - Gen Lab

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Principal Consultant to join our Federal Consulting team. This role involves consulting with clients on service line workflow, guiding them through interdependencies and design decision impacts, providing solution oversight, direction, and expertise, and driving client-specific solution configuration.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients on service line workflow, guiding them through interdependencies and design decision impacts.
• Provide solution oversight, direction, and expertise to stakeholders.
• Drive client-specific solution configuration.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years total combined related work experience.
• At least 3 years healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support, and/or other client-facing or information technology (IT) solution work experience.
• 2+ years of overall experience in relevant clinician or practitioner, functional or technical roles.
• Knowledge and experience with Oracle Health Federal Clinical Laboratory products is a plus.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
• Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients.
• Backend build experience in PathNet or other similar areas.
• Experience in any of the following: Bedrock, CCL, DCPTools, Reference Range Wizards, Virtual Views, Discern Rule Writing, Reference Lab Interfaces, Medical Device Interfaces.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Self-starter capable of independently handling tasks and projects.

Expectations

• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
• Willing to travel up to 50% as needed.
• Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations.
• Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position.
