About the role
We are seeking an experienced Consultant to join our Federal Consulting team. This role will involve designing, configuring, activating, and supporting the implementation of Oracle Health EHR (Millennium) solutions across Federal agencies including the Department of Defense, United States Coast Guard, Veterans Affairs, and Indian Health Service.
Responsibilities
- Consult with clients on service line workflow and guide them through interdependencies and design decision impacts.
- Provide solution oversight, direction, and expertise to stakeholders.
- Drive client-specific solution configuration design to meet workflow requirements and make recommendations to clients.
- Mitigate solution risks and issues.
- Execute workflow and process improvement strategies.
- Lead client meetings and events.
- Drive internal team initiatives.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years total combined related work experience.
- At least 2 years healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support, and/or other client-facing or IT solution work experience.
- 3+ years of overall experience in relevant clinician or practitioner, functional or technical roles.
- Knowledge and experience with Oracle Health Federal Clinical Laboratory products is a plus.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
- Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus.
- Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients.
- Backend build experience in PathNet or other similar areas.
- Experience in any of the following: Bedrock, CCL, DCPTools, Reference Range Wizards, Virtual Views, Discern Rule Writing, Reference Lab Interfaces, Medical Device Interfaces.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-starter capable of independently handling tasks and projects.
Expectations
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
- Willing to travel up to 50% as needed.
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations.
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position.
