About the role

The Senior Principal, Commercial Partnerships at SimCorp is responsible for driving the development and management of strategic partnerships that align with SimCorp's business objectives and expand its market presence in the Americas. This role requires 12-15 years of experience in business development, partnership management, and strategic marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of SimCorp’s Americas strategic partnership strategy, aligning with organizational goals and market expansion objectives.
  • Identify and evaluate new partnership opportunities in alignment with SimCorp’s growth areas, industry trends, and customer needs.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key partners, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Oversee the negotiation and structuring of partnership agreements, ensuring that terms and conditions support SimCorp’s strategic and financial goals.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, sales, and marketing teams to integrate strategic partnerships into go-to-market strategies and business development plans.
  • Manage cross-functional teams to drive partnership initiatives, including marketing, product, legal, and customer success teams.
  • Track and measure the performance of partnerships, providing regular updates and recommendations for optimization to senior leadership.
  • Champion the voice of the partner within SimCorp, ensuring alignment between internal teams and external partners.
  • Identify and manage potential risks within partnerships, working proactively to resolve any issues and ensure long-term success.
  • Collaborate closely with a team of commercial partnership managers, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and identifying best practices.

Pay and Schedule

The approximate salary range for this role is $181,800 - $251,160 USD per year. Employees are also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits including health care, leave, and retirement plans.
