About the role
The Senior Pricing Analyst will be responsible for developing pricing strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives, while also ensuring profitability. They will analyze market trends, monitor competitor pricing, and collaborate with various teams to develop pricing models that meet customer needs and maximize revenue.
Responsibilities
- Develop pricing strategies and models that align with the company's goals and objectives
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop pricing models that meet customer needs
- Analyze pricing data to identify trends and make recommendations for pricing adjustments
- Manage pricing databases and ensure accuracy of pricing information
- Plan and present pricing proposals to senior management
- Provide guidance and training to pricing analysts as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in Pricing in the transportation and logistics industry
- 7+ years of experience in the transportation and logistics industry
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools
- Familiarity with pricing software and databases
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), pricing software and databases, and other analytical tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Pricing and Revenue Management (CPRM) or related field
- Experience with data visualization tools
Supervisory Responsibilities
May provide guidance to pricing analysts.
Pay
For this position, the expected base pay is $66,000 - $82,000 / Annual. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, geographic location, and other objective business considerations.
