About the role
The Senior Pricing Analyst reports to the Senior Manager Pricing Foodservice and serves as a key member of the Bunge Loders Croklaan (BLC) North America Pricing Team. This position involves liaising with various functions such as Sales, Product Management, Operations, and Trade to optimize business performance and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Lead modelling, analytics, and pricing strategy calls for Foodservice pricing team with support from Sr. Pricing Manager.
- Own RFX process and coordinate with Sales, PLM, and other functions.
- Publish monthly KPIs, insights, and recommendations for changes to price lists, pricing models, and margins.
- Track, analyze, and report market intelligence data to ensure margin expectations remain competitive.
- Generate framework to identify pricing improvement opportunities and support implementation of initiatives within the organization.
- Act as business owner of Customer Position reporting to include Financial Risk Management and Booked contracts.
- Partner with accounting and other functions to ensure timeliness and accuracy in standard costs.
- Monitor compliance reporting for all pricing team functions, including SOX reporting.
- Represent Foodservice team on special project assignments as needed, i.e., SAP, training, etc.
- Support of systems utilized by the pricing and contracting team, suggesting enhancements as needed, e.g., including Salesforce, Tableau, Pricing Engine, etc.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Mathematics.
- 5+ years related experience.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Results-oriented and self-driven individual.
- Leadership skills, including influencing and collaborating in group settings.
- Strong analytical skills and proven data management experience (3+ years).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
