Senior PM-T, Discovery, New Selection Success
New selection is a key driver of Amazon's flywheel and shopper experience, representing a large share of shipped units each year globally. Our mission is to ensure customers discover new products that deliver differentiated value—better price, faster speed, stronger features, or a trusted brand—while giving sellers faster, clearer demand signals on Amazon than on any other store.
About the role
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Product Manager, Technical (PMT) to own the discovery and acceleration workstream for high-potential selection. This high-visibility role is responsible for maximizing customer exposure to high-potential selection across Amazon's discovery surfaces and designing differentiated acceleration paths for the highest-potential new products. You will define the strategy for how new selection gets discovered, build systems and signals that accelerate the best products faster, and develop seller-facing solutions to offer a quick feedback loop on selection success at global scale.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end high-potential selection discovery strategy, including multi-year vision and near-term roadmap, in partnership with key science, engineering, and product stakeholders
- Drive discovery of high-potential selection across surfaces—including Ads, Detail Page, Browse, and Off-Amazon channels—identifying and prioritizing the highest-impact opportunities
- Develop and refine eligibility criteria and guardrails for high-potential selection, balancing discovery with quality and customer experience
- Define and execute acceleration strategies for priority high-potential ASINs predicted to drive outsized customer value (e.g., Value for Money)—including differentiated discovery treatments
- Define and own P0 discovery metrics, building mechanisms to monitor performance, adoption, and customer impact
- Own the seller-facing signals strategy: what data we collect, how we measure success, and what signals sellers receive post-launch to inform their actions
- Partner with science, data, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, AI-native solutions including intelligent ranking, agentic workflows, and automated recommendations
- Manage global expansion of the discovery program, ensuring solutions scale across marketplaces and seller segments
