Senior Plant Operator - Mallard WI

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Overtake the daily operations and maintenance of the biogas facility
• Supervise contractors and ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to standard
• Operate, maintain, and optimize gas collection and control systems (GCCS)
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on: Mechanical systems, Electrical systems, Instrumentation, Compressors and related equipment
• Troubleshoot plant equipment and process issues using a data-driven approach
• Maintain accurate operational logs, reports, and inventory records
• Support and promote health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance
• Collaborate with landfill and operations teams to ensure system efficiency
• Train, mentor, and support the development of junior personnel
• Participate in on-call rotations as required

Required Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED
• Strong knowledge of electro-mechanical systems and plant operations
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Willingness to work flexible hours and be on call
• Ability to obtain or pass Senior Operator Qualification (SOQ)
