About the role
The Facilities Management department is recruiting for a General Maintenance Mechanic, who, under direction, performs skilled work in a variety of fields in the maintenance and repair of building mechanical and electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Performs skilled work in a variety of fields in the maintenance and repair of building mechanical and electrical systems.
Requirements
- Four years of journey level building maintenance and repair experience in at least one of the following trades: electrical, carpentry (includes drywall, painting and carpet laying), plumbing, welding, air conditioning and/or sheet metal.
- OR - completion of a structured trade apprenticeship program.
Qualifications
Experience in at least one of the following trades: electrical, carpentry (includes drywall, painting and carpet laying), plumbing, welding, air conditioning and/or sheet metal.
Skills
Skilled work in a variety of fields in the maintenance and repair of building mechanical and electrical systems.
