Senior Physical Therapist - Occupational Medicine

About the role

Provides independent physical therapy management to patients, including evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, and discharge.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients, set treatment goals, deliver direct care, delegate tasks, and coordinate with the healthcare team.
  • Educate patients and families and document progress.
  • Participate in departmental programs, clinical research, and specialized clinics.
  • Act as an instructor for patient education and supervise physical therapy students.
  • Reassess and modify treatment as needed to ensure maximum patient benefit.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum two years of physical therapy experience.
  • Licensed in California and BLS certified.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex cases independently and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Preferred certification as a clinical instructor.

Additional Requirements

Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
