About the role
Provides independent physical therapy management to patients, including evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, and discharge.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients, set treatment goals, deliver direct care, delegate tasks, and coordinate with the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and families and document progress.
- Participate in departmental programs, clinical research, and specialized clinics.
- Act as an instructor for patient education and supervise physical therapy students.
- Reassess and modify treatment as needed to ensure maximum patient benefit.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum two years of physical therapy experience.
- Licensed in California and BLS certified.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex cases independently and work effectively in a team environment.
- Preferred certification as a clinical instructor.
Additional Requirements
Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
