About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support pharmacists by processing prescriptions, entering data, and preparing medications including compounding and labeling
  • Deliver excellent customer service during medication pick-up, payment processing, and counseling
  • Manage inventory, receive and inspect shipments, price and store medications, and restock clinical areas
  • Administer vaccines, report safety events, and contribute to quality improvement and departmental initiatives
  • Collaborate effectively with the pharmacy team, uphold compliance with regulations, and maintain required certifications
  • May be required to travel to other sites if needed

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Massachusetts
  • Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician through PTCB, CPhT, or NHA or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
  • Certified in Immunization Administration by an ACPE accredited training program or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
  • Access to reliable transportation

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a retail pharmacy or outpatient pharmacy setting

Pay

The hourly pay for this role will range from $18 - $32 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
