About the role

We seek a Senior Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

Schedule & location

  • Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts between 8:30am-5:00pm, with lunch from 12:30pm to 1:00pm
  • Location: 2311 W Royal Palm Rd. Suite P, Phoenix, AZ 85021 (inside the Southwest Network building)

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
  • Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist
  • Order, receive and store incoming pharmacy supplies
  • Receive and process wholesaler medication orders
  • Verify medication stock and enter data in computer to maintain inventory records
  • Work with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
  • Perform various clerical duties relating to the department
  • Communicate with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Other duties as assigned

Required qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Arizona
  • 3+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience
  • Ability to work onsite at 2311 W Royal Palm Rd. Suite P, Phoenix, AZ 85021, Monday through Friday between 8:30am-5:00pm
  • Access to reliable transportation and a valid US driver's license with good driving record

Preferred qualifications

  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Vaccination certified
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience

Pay

The hourly pay for this role will range from $18 to $32 per hour based on full-time employment, with pay determined by factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, and compliance with minimum wage laws.
