Senior Pharmacy Technician

About the role

The Senior Pharmacy Technician is a position that assists in all aspects of processing prescription refill authorization requests and prior authorizations using established workflows and protocols. This position plays a key role in maintaining a high level of patient satisfaction by providing patients with exceptional customer service and serving as the liaison between patients, physicians and pharmacies.

Responsibilities

• Process prescription refill authorization requests and prior authorizations using established workflows and protocols.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients.

Requirements

• Board recognized Pharmacy Technician Program.
• Washington Pharmacy Technician License (required upon hire).
• 5 years of experience as a pharmacy technician.

Pay

Pay range: $23.84 – $36.48 per hour (base pay). Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Schedule

Full‑time position with multiple shifts available.
