Responsibilities

  • Lead functional analysis and business requirements gathering for PeopleSoft HCM enhancements and new implementations.
  • Partner with HR and business stakeholders to understand operational needs and translate them into scalable PeopleSoft solutions.
  • Analyze existing business processes and recommend process improvements.
  • Design functional solutions supporting enterprise HR initiatives.
  • Configure and support PeopleSoft HCM modules.
  • Create functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams on system design.
  • Facilitate workshops, requirements sessions, and solution reviews with business users.
  • Create and maintain documentation including functional specifications, SOPs, process flows, and business requirements.
  • Design and develop PeopleSoft reports and queries.
  • Write and troubleshoot complex SQL queries (DML/DQL) to support reporting and data analysis.
  • Coordinate activities across cross-functional project teams.
  • Support production issues, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of PeopleSoft HCM functional experience.
  • 10+ years of PeopleSoft HCM technical experience.
  • 10+ years supporting PeopleSoft HCM version 9.2 or newer.
  • Extensive experience implementing and supporting: Human Resources, Compensation, Position Management, Talent Acquisition / Candidate Gateway, Benefits Administration, Performance Management, Learning & Development, Employee Self Service (ESS), Manager Self Service (MSS).
  • Proven experience leading full lifecycle PeopleSoft implementations from requirements through deployment.
  • Strong business analysis and requirements gathering experience.
  • Extensive SQL experience including complex DML and DQL scripting.
  • Experience developing advanced PeopleSoft Queries.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience with PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF).
  • Experience supporting large enterprise or public sector organizations.
  • Experience with state or local government projects.
  • Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong understanding of relational database concepts.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional IT and HR organizations.
