Senior PCVD Equipment Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior PVD/CVD Equipment Engineer responsible for installing, qualifying, and maintaining PVD/CVD equipment in a cleanroom environment. The role includes analyzing performance data, troubleshooting issues, and implementing preventative and corrective maintenance. You will collaborate with process engineers to resolve equipment-related production problems, drive hardware improvement projects, and establish vendor relationships. Additionally, you will develop and execute Total Productive Maintenance strategies.

Responsibilities

• Install, qualify, and maintain PVD/CVD equipment in a cleanroom environment
• Analyze performance data and troubleshoot equipment issues
• Implement preventative and corrective maintenance
• Collaborate with process engineers to resolve equipment-related production problems
• Drive hardware improvement projects and establish vendor relationships
• Develop and execute Total Productive Maintenance strategies

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience with PVD/CVD equipment or equivalent military/education background
• Hands-on maintenance experience in a semiconductor fab
• Knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Proficiency in data science and programming; interest in AI workflows is a plus

This is an onsite role in Boise, Idaho.
