Execute complex, multi-layer PCB designs using Cadence Allegro, focusing on high-speed digital routing, impedance matching, and power distribution.
Perform analog and power integrity simulations in Spice to validate design margins and component selections.
Maintain departmental design rules, footprint libraries, and BOM standards to ensure consistent quality and ease of fabrication.
Review the drawings, calculations, and layouts of junior engineers to ensure accuracy and adherence to best practices.
Identify and resolve component obsolescence (EOL) issues and interface with PCB fabrication partners to resolve DFM/DFA conflicts.
Lead the bring-up and verification of new hardware using high-speed oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field, and/or equivalent experience.
5 years relevant engineering experience.
Proficient in Cadence Allegro, LTSpice, Python, and Git.
Experience using C/C++, Python, Git, Linux, Real-time OS Frameworks, Xilinx or Altera FPGA Flows.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent prioritization and project development skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
Ability to travel up to 5% domestically and internationally.

Master’s degree
Experience designing and working with high-speed interfaces, including Ethernet, PCIe, and USB-C layout.
Familiarity with Verilog/HDL and FPGA hardware requirements including bank voltages, clocking, and transceivers.
Proficient in embedded systems development with strong literacy in Linux, understanding of RTOS timing and driver-level hardware interactions.
