Fundraise Up is a global fundraising platform that powers tens of millions of dollars in donations each month for nonprofits worldwide, focusing on innovation that drives faster load times, higher conversion rates, global payment support, and accessibility‑first design. Trusted by organizations such as UNICEF, the Alzheimer’s Association, and many global NGOs, the platform includes a modern checkout experience, customizable widgets, donor/organization/partner portals, admin tools, and several internal apps. The team is a distributed group of 160+ product professionals (80+ engineers) based across Spain, Poland, Portugal, Georgia, Armenia, Serbia, Turkey, and Cyprus, operating with a product‑mindset, strong engineering practices, and thoughtful collaboration. In this role you will run the programs employees feel most directly: payroll, variable compensation, equity, and benefits, across every country, entity, and contractor arrangement. You will bring order to a complex, distributed environment by building calendars, controls, and processes that ensure accurate, on‑time payments every time. This is a hands‑on position for someone who traces issues to the source rather than passing them along and who builds systems others can trust.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end global payroll delivery for employees and contractors, ensuring payments, deductions, reimbursements, and changes are accurate, timely, compliant, and reconciled.
• Calculate and validate variable compensation and bonuses for executives and non‑GTM employees, coordinating finalized inputs, payroll execution, controls, and reconciliation with the GTM variable‑pay partner.
• Build and run a global payroll calendar with clear cutoffs, review cycles, approvals, funding timelines, and reimbursement service levels.
• Design and administer equity and long‑term incentive programs (grants, vesting, exercises, terminations) while maintaining accurate records and cap‑table integrity in partnership with Finance and Legal.
