About the role
The Senior Payroll Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of payroll operations. Responsibilities include managing end-to-end payroll processing, resolving inquiries, and collaborating cross-functionally to drive continuous improvements.
Responsibilities
- Execute accurate and timely bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll processing using Workday Payroll and OSV.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, proactively identifying and addressing risks.
- Act as a payroll subject matter expert, responding to employee inquiries and resolving issues efficiently and with care.
- Proactively identify opportunities to leverage AI for automation and workflow optimization to reduce manual, repetitive tasks.
- Perform regular audits to validate payroll data integrity and compliance, recommending corrective actions where necessary.
- Collaborate with Humans Operations, HRIS, Finance, Legal, and Workforce Management to ensure seamless payroll operations (including reconciliations and payroll funding).
- Generate and analyze payroll reports to provide insights into payroll trends and operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot payroll system issues and support system configuration updates in Workday Payroll and OSV.
Requirements
- 5+ years of payroll experience, including multi-state payroll processing.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with Workday Payroll and collaboration with OSV (preferred).
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including data analysis and reporting.

Pay
The anticipated hiring base compensation range is USD $90,000 - $100,000 annually. The compensation offered will include a robust market-competitive package of base and equity.

Full-time, in-office position.
