Senior Payroll Analyst

About the role
We are seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst to keep our Payroll systems updated for compliance and business processes, document requirements, and serve as a Tier 2 liaison with internal customers. You will support Payroll Analysts 1 and Payroll Administrators with escalation inquiries, manage the workflow of the payroll ticketing system, analyze and interpret reports, and lead efforts to define system requirements, including testing and implementation for changes.
Responsibilities
- Document payroll system requirements for compliance and business processes
- Act as a Tier 2 liaison with internal customers
- Support Payroll Analysts 1 and Payroll Administrators with escalation inquiries
- Manage the workflow of the payroll ticketing system
- Analyze and interpret reports for internal customers
- Lead efforts to define system requirements, including testing and implementation for changes
Requirements
- 6+ years of payroll experience
- Attention to detail
- Customer service and support experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and intranet/internet
- High School Diploma/GED; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP Payroll system experience
- Payroll tax experience
