Responsibilities
- Perform weekly accumulation and review of employee timesheets for payroll.
- Work with supervisors to ensure accuracy of timesheets and compliance with company policies.
- Partner with external vendors to complete bi-weekly payroll processing and respond to payroll inquiries and requests from employees and other internal/external users of payroll data.
- Research and troubleshoot payroll discrepancies, resolving any payroll-related issues.
- Serve as a liaison between Finance and Human Resources regarding payroll, paid time off, and various other policies and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain account reconciliations as part of the monthly closing process.
- Ensure federal and state payroll reports (monthly, quarterly, and annually) are filed accurately and in a timely manner.
Requirements
- High-volume payroll processing and reporting experience.
- Experience with SAP HCM/SAP ECP, ADP, or UKG.
- Multistate, hourly payroll, and union payroll experience preferred.
