Senior Patient Services Coordinator

About the role

The Senior Patient Service Coordinator coordinates the onboarding of new patients, manages patient profiles, and enters prescription details. You will serve as a key resource for physicians and care teams while initiating therapy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a positive patient experience throughout the onboarding process.
• Establish relationships with care partners, including physicians, nurses, and pharmacists.
• Maintain the integrity of protected health information in accordance with HIPAA policies.
• Verify patient insurance information and work with prescribers on the intake process.
• Coordinate with nursing teams for in-home or outpatient facility services.
• Educate patients regarding disease management programs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of experience, or Associate’s Degree with 3 years of experience.
• Reimbursement experience, including pharmacy and medical benefit coverage.
• Experience in a pharmacy setting and medical billing.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
