About the Role

Responsible for coordinating patient safety event management, collaborating with hospital leadership to facilitate peer review processes, analyze serious patient concerns, adverse events, and clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Identify trends through data collection to enhance clinical quality systems.
  • Participate in adverse event analysis and follow-up with regulatory agencies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of peer review and risk management information.
  • Recommend corrective actions and collaborate on interventions with improvement teams.
  • Contribute to educational initiatives on current research and trends.
  • Develop and review hospital policies, support safety initiatives, and address barriers to improvement.
  • Promote a culture of safety, transparency, and high reliability across departments.
  • Provide training on safety data and trends to foster continuous improvement.
  • Complete HRO (High Reliability Organization) training and integrate principles into safety oversight.
  • Assist in preparing presentations for committees and mentor safety team members.
  • Participate in onboarding, training, and other related duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of healthcare experience, clinical background preferred.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.

Working Conditions

Office environment with frequent computer use, discretion with confidential data, and availability for emergencies and regulatory reviews.
