Senior Patient Registrar - Queens Medical Group - Astoria Location
About the role
As a Senior Patient Registrar, you will register patients for a variety of procedures and appointments, ensuring proper scheduling and obtaining necessary pre-certification and authorization. You will also record patient history and provide a calming presence during the hospital experience.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Three years of clerical experience
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
- Strong telephone and customer service skills
Qualifications
- Completed some college coursework and familiarity with health insurance requirements
- Experience working in a busy medical practice
- Epic experience preferred
- Strong multitasking skills

Pay
$34.65-$42.65/Hourly
Schedule
Full time, 36.25 scheduled hours per week, Monday-Friday, with varied hours of 8:00am-6:00pm, and occasional overtime as needed.
Location
Astoria location, with flexibility to cover nearby sites.
