Your Responsibilities as a Senior Paralegal
- Review, draft, negotiate, and administer commercial contracts, client agreements, amendments, and related legal documents.
- Manage the full contract lifecycle, including contract intake, review, negotiation, approval, execution, and document retention.
- Triage and prioritize contract requests while ensuring timely completion and stakeholder communication.
- Serve as a primary liaison between Legal, Sales, Operations, Finance, Risk Management, and external counterparties throughout the contract negotiation process.
- Communicate contract terms, negotiation strategies, legal risks, and business considerations to internal stakeholders and customers.
- Provide guidance on contract interpretation, compliance requirements, risk assessment, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate contract approvals, signature workflows, and execution processes utilizing contract management best practices.
- Maintain contract databases, document repositories, and legal records to ensure accuracy, organization, version control, and audit readiness.
- Partner with the legal team to improve contract management processes, workflow efficiency, and operational consistency.
- Facilitate insurance certificate requests and contractually required insurance documentation.
- Coordinate with Sales, Legal, Operations, and insurance brokers to ensure fulfillment of contractual insurance obligations.
- Track and manage insurance-related requests from initiation through completion while maintaining appropriate documentation.
- Conduct legal research and gather information to support legal analysis, business decisions, and risk management initiatives.
- Support special projects, legal operations initiatives, and other responsibilities as assigned.
Your Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- About 7-10 years of relevant experience and a Paralegal Certificate or equivalent on the job training.
- In-house legal department experience required

- Understanding of legal language, principles, and processes as well as other related matters.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, and Teams.
- Superior organization, administration, and document management skills to undertake work in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Able to efficiently manage time and prioritize workflow to meet deadlines.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
- Sound judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality.
