Responsibilities
- Delivery of simple and complex Business funded Infrastructure projects/Technical Debt Migrations/Data Centre exits /AWS migrations and support of businesses using funded / recovered resource to support business driven change for various Database Platforms across the bank.
- Managing the customer interface for all matters related to Database builds and migrations.
- Collating business requirements and delivering technical design documentation based on the business requirements.
- Working with customers and technical resources to develop project plans, detailing work break down structures and identifying critical paths in project deliverables.
- Analyzing the High-Level Designs using standard database patterns in the Bank.
- Supporting the overall migration planning and deployment strategy into production.
- Identifying and escalating issues and risks in a timely manner to the portfolio lead so that project risk can be mitigated with minimal impact.
- Presenting database migration/database cloning techniques to Build the Bank Stakeholders.
- Providing Oracle Tech SME guidance to the Oracle database admins locally and across the globe.
- May telecommute pursuant to company policies. [Hybrid role]
Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle Database Management Systems (DBMS).
- Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL programming.
- Experience with database design, normalization, and optimization.
- Experience with data warehousing and data management best practices.
- Experience with data modeling and data architecture.
- Experience with data integration and data migration processes.
- Experience with data quality and data lineage.
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.

Pay
Salary / Rate Minimum/yr: $148,988 per year
Salary / Rate Maximum/yr: $160,000 per year

- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Oracle DBA roles.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery and management.
