Senior Operations Support Specialist

Active security clearance at the TS/SCI polygraph level is required.

About the role

We have an immediate need for a versatile Systems & Operations Support Engineer to join our ANDS team in supporting continuous application health and watchfloor operations. In this blended role, you will bridge the gap between Systems Administration and Operations Support—ensuring data reliability, maintaining cloud/on-prem service health, and providing rapid incident resolution across the entire project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to intermediate Linux sysadmin tasks (CLI navigation, service management, log parsing, process inspection, and system resource tracking).
• Use the AWS Console or AWS CLI for routine operational tasks, instance health checks, and server management.
• Support 24/7 watchfloor, NOC, or operations center environments by monitoring application health, dashboards, and error logs.
• Investigate service degradations, diagnose failed dataflows, and perform root-cause analysis across configurations or codebases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Intelligence Studies, Computer Science, Finance/Economics, or a related discipline, plus 6+ years of specialized data analytics or financial intelligence experience.
• OR High School Diploma / GED, plus 10+ years of hands-on intelligence analysis, financial tracking, and data discovery experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability and willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule (6 AM - 6 PM / 6 PM - 6 AM) for 24/7 coverage.

Pay

The annual base salary range for this role is $152,000–$180,000 (USD), which does not include discretionary bonus compensation. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level.

Schedule

This position supports 24/7 watchfloor operations and operates on a rotating shift schedule (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM / 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
