Responsibilities

  • Maintain a Safety-First culture in our food-based Fulfillment Center (FC).
  • Responsible for meeting site environmental, health, quality & safety performance metrics.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations in the FC, driving performance to continuously meet both long- and short-term company goals.
  • Prepare operating reports, establish KPIs, and provide value-driven feedback to direct reports.
  • Lead and motivate large cross-functional teams, including receiving, production, inventory control, and shipping.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture to meet or exceed operational goals.
  • Champion continuous improvement efforts throughout the organization identifying areas of opportunity and implementing new processes to meet business needs.
  • Implements best practices and ensures adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among different departments within the warehouse.
  • Coincide and integrate supply chain with logistics, inventory, and distribution teams.
  • Develops a highly effective site leadership team, by applying high standards for selection and continued performance; establishes clear and stretching goals, communicates and delegates key responsibilities, and actively utilizes all performance, development, and career tools, to their full potential.
  • Analyze production data to prepare and issue performance reports, identifying areas of improvement.
  • Proficient in root cause analysis, with the ability to develop and implement corrective action plans to prevent recurrence of issues.
  • Build strong professional relationships with their direct reports and site HR Business Partners.
  • Identifies and effectively communicates urgent issues, both internal and external, to site HR as needed and maintains accurate administrative records.

Qualifications

  • Previous leadership experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for operating plants.
  • An ability to adapt to changing priorities, delegate, and manage time efficiently.
  • Experience conducting root cause analysis investigations.
  • Experience training others to new processes or procedural updates.
  • An aptitude for equipment operation and troubleshooting.
  • Strong team management skills with ability to supervise multiple teams.
  • Experience leading and motivating large teams.
  • Strict adherence to company standards and safety procedures.
  • Excellent leadership, team building, and people management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.
  • Able to analyze problems and strategize for improved outcomes.
  • Excellent conflict-resolution and decision-making abilities.
  • Able to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
