Responsibilities
- Maintain a Safety-First culture in our food-based Fulfillment Center (FC).
- Responsible for meeting site environmental, health, quality & safety performance metrics.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations in the FC, driving performance to continuously meet both long- and short-term company goals.
- Prepare operating reports, establish KPIs, and provide value-driven feedback to direct reports.
- Lead and motivate large cross-functional teams, including receiving, production, inventory control, and shipping.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture to meet or exceed operational goals.
- Champion continuous improvement efforts throughout the organization identifying areas of opportunity and implementing new processes to meet business needs.
- Implements best practices and ensures adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration among different departments within the warehouse.
- Coincide and integrate supply chain with logistics, inventory, and distribution teams.
- Develops a highly effective site leadership team, by applying high standards for selection and continued performance; establishes clear and stretching goals, communicates and delegates key responsibilities, and actively utilizes all performance, development, and career tools, to their full potential.
- Analyze production data to prepare and issue performance reports, identifying areas of improvement.
- Proficient in root cause analysis, with the ability to develop and implement corrective action plans to prevent recurrence of issues.
- Build strong professional relationships with their direct reports and site HR Business Partners.
- Identifies and effectively communicates urgent issues, both internal and external, to site HR as needed and maintains accurate administrative records.
Qualifications
- Previous leadership experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for operating plants.
- An ability to adapt to changing priorities, delegate, and manage time efficiently.
- Experience conducting root cause analysis investigations.
- Experience training others to new processes or procedural updates.
- An aptitude for equipment operation and troubleshooting.
- Strong team management skills with ability to supervise multiple teams.
- Experience leading and motivating large teams.
- Strict adherence to company standards and safety procedures.
- Excellent leadership, team building, and people management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.
- Able to analyze problems and strategize for improved outcomes.
- Excellent conflict-resolution and decision-making abilities.
- Able to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
