Senior Operations Lead
Liaison with intelligence, operations, and R&D communities
To identify future capability gaps relevant to the unit's mission set, the Future Operations Lead will liaison with intelligence, operations, and R&D communities.
Provide SME level support
The Future Operations Lead will provide SME level support on operational integration topics to project teams and future development initiatives.
Future technology requirements management support
Support across the unit will be provided for future technology requirements management.
Required Education / Experience
- 10+ years’ experience in tactical and strategic multi-domain operations
- Prior experience in establishing priorities within three letter organizations and the intelligence community
- BA or BS degree required
Desired Education/ Experience
- Prior experience with acquisitions and/or software engineer development
- Prior experience in developing innovative technical solutions to emerging novel problem sets
- Prior experience with rapid acquisitions support to space and cyber operations
- MA or MS Degree desired
Skills
- Knowledge of electronic warfare (EW) principles and experience in EW planning and operations
- Able to communicate technical approaches and details to small project teams and senior audiences
- Strong desire to keep technical skills current and remain abreast of emerging technologies and existing solutions
- Familiarity with various SATCOM systems & RF signals
- USAF/USSF major command (MAJCOM), HQ Air Force, combatant command (COCOM), Special Operations, or Joint Staff experience desired
Clearance Requirements
Position requires an active TS/SCI clearance.
Travel
This position could require some travel, potentially around 3-4 weeks per quarter. This position is onsite in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Pay Range
The pay range for this position in Colorado is $155,000/year to $185,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors.
