Senior Operations Analyst - Options Clearing

About the role

TD Securities is seeking a Senior Options Analyst to join their Operations team. This role is hands-on and primarily focuses on ensuring trade break reconciliation, allocation, and timely clearance for all US option trades. The position requires partnering with internal and external clients to ensure compliance with firm and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal/external clients to ensure governance/control requirements are understood and adhered to.
• Develop relationships with Operations, Trading, Streetside counterparties, and Technology to facilitate efficient operations and coordination.
• Review records to ensure accuracy and completeness, meeting firm and regulatory standards.
• Maintain oversight of controls, review exception reports, and escalate issues as necessary.
• Manage communications with internal/external partners.
• Participate in projects aimed at process improvements and strategic initiatives.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of Broadridge systems (Primarily BPS and OAES).
• Experience with OCC Encore, Exercise and Assignment Mechanics, WEX (or similar OMS experience).
• Expertise in Options Clearing, Equities Clearing, Equity/Index/Flex Options Knowledge, Prime Brokerage, and CMTA clearance and allocations.
• Proficiency in Fidessa.
• Experience with AI/Automation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook).
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Flexibility to work late nights and Saturdays as required.
• Ability to identify, escalate, and resolve problems/issues.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Efficient time management and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

• Experience with Prime Brokerage and CMTA clearance and allocations.

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week.
