About the role
We are seeking a Senior Network Operations Engineer with 8–12 years of experience to monitor and support enterprise network, server, and infrastructure environments.
Responsibilities
- Monitor enterprise network, server, and infrastructure environments 24×7.
- Manage monitoring alerts, events, incidents, and escalations.
- Analyze alerts and logs to identify performance issues and potential outages.
- Work with Splunk, SolarWinds, Dynatrace, or similar monitoring platforms.
- Develop and maintain monitoring dashboards, alerts, thresholds, and reports.
- Perform event correlation and identify recurring operational issues.
- Troubleshoot network, Linux, system, and application monitoring issues.
- Collaborate with Network, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Application teams.
- Participate in incident management, root-cause analysis, and problem management.
- Follow ITIL-based incident, change, and event management processes.
- Maintain monitoring documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge articles.
- Support production environments and participate in on-call/shift operations when required.
- Identify opportunities to improve monitoring coverage, alert quality, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Network Operations, NOC, Infrastructure Monitoring, or IT Operations.
- Strong experience with monitoring and alert management.
- Hands-on experience with Splunk.
- Experience with SolarWinds and/or Dynatrace.
- Experience with event management, incident management, and escalation processes.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, routing, and switching.
- Good working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
- ITIL Foundation certification preferred.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
