Senior Network Engineer (L2)

About the role

This is a hands-on onsite role with a strong focus on Cisco networking and security.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure using Cisco routing and switching technologies (L2/L3).
• Configure and manage Cisco firewalls, including setup of VPNs, NAT, IDS/IPS.
• Implement and manage Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for network access control (NAC).
• Manage and configure protocols such as DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, TACACS, SNMP, and SYSLOG.
• Utilize tools like Blue Coat, Infoblox, F5, Palo Alto, and Cisco ASA for network management and security.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to resolve network issues.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and alignment with business objectives.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in network engineering, with a strong emphasis on Cisco L2/L3 technologies.
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale network infrastructures.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco firewalls, including setup of VPNs, NAT, IDS/IPS.
• Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for network access control (NAC).
• Strong understanding of network protocols such as DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, TACACS, SNMP, and SYSLOG.
• Proficiency in using tools such as Blue Coat, Infoblox, F5, Palo Alto, and Cisco ASA.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
