Network Engineer, Senior
About the role
As a senior network engineer on our team, you’ll help DoD evolve remote access networks to support national security systems (NSS). You’ll work with SMEs and Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) engineers to learn the strategic goals and operational needs that shape the network requirements. You’ll then plan the system design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the network components.
Responsibilities
- Resolve interoperability issues across platforms
- Support the acquisition of hardware
- Configure and troubleshoot SSL and IPsec VPNs
- Analyze network traffic with Wireshark or TCP Dump
- Implement PKI, including X.509 Certificates and Certificate authorities
- Design VLANs for network separation and routing protocols such as RIP, EIGRP, MPLS, BGP, and OSPF
- Develop and maintain accurate network diagrams using Microsoft Visio
Requirements
- Top Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
Qualifications
- Experience with leading and developing CSfC solutions and supporting the maturation of CSfC capability packages
- Experience with Aruba and Cisco network switches, routers, and firewalls
- Experience with leading the design, test, and deployment of DoD systems or solutions
- Experience with configuring and troubleshooting SSL and IPsec VPNs
- Knowledge of PKI implementation, including X.509 Certificates and Certificate authorities
- Knowledge of VLAN design schemes for network separation and routing protocols, including RIP, EIGRP, MPLS, BGP, and OSPF
- Ability to depict network diagrams accurately using Microsoft Visio
Skills
- Ability to initiate, manage, execute, and report tasks independently
- Ability to communicate complex network principles and designs to clients
- CCNP Certification

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD).
