About the role
The Senior Network Administrator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of the Credit Union's network infrastructure. This position requires collaboration with third-party vendors, designing and implementing scalable and resilient infrastructure solutions, and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with third-party vendors to manage and support network infrastructure, including servers, firewalls, switches, and security systems
- Design and implement scalable, resilient infrastructure solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues with efficiency and foresight
- Contribute to technical projects and drive successful implementation of infrastructure improvements
- Develop and maintain robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize system performance
- Ensure data security, regulatory compliance, and system integrity
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver effective technology solutions
- Respond to urgent IT incidents when needed
Requirements
- 7–10 years of experience in network and systems administration
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Strong expertise in networking, operating systems, cybersecurity, and modern infrastructure technologies
- Experience executing technical projects and delivering reliable solutions
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively
- Collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and sound judgment, including escalation awareness
Qualifications
- Experience with financial industry regulations is highly desirable

Pay
Compensation and Job Title is commensurate with experience and may fall under the following pay ranges: Sr. Network Administrator - $89,000 to $125,000 Annually
Schedule
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, occasional travel, and participation in an on-call rotation are expected due to the 24/7 nature of the systems.
