Senior Network Administrator (hybrid)
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and optimize network performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, Wireless, VPN, Data Center).
- Configuration and troubleshooting of network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and OT network devices.
- Develop and maintain network diagrams, documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies.
- Oversee network hardware/software upgrades and lifecycle management.
- Identify and mitigate network security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Administer firewalls (Fortinet preferred), NAC, SIEM, and VPN solutions.
- Monitor network traffic and logs for anomalies and threats.
- Collaborate closely with other IT teams (Systems, Applications, DevOps) to ensure secure integration of new technologies and services.
- Mentor junior administrators and serve as a subject matter expert.
- Lead strategic planning and technical discussions for network initiatives.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive experience in network administration.
- Expertise in enterprise network design, implementation, and management.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, 802.1X, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, and other network protocols.
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, NAC.
- Proficiency in diagnostic and troubleshooting tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

This base salary range reflects the typical compensation for this role across U.S. locations. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level; individual pay is determined based on multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, work location, and internal equity.
