Senior Net Revenue Analyst (Remote)

About the role

ChristianaCare is searching for a Senior Net Revenue Analyst to support and calculate for the valuation of patient accounts receivable within the Revenue Cycle Analytics (“RCA”) tool (Kodiak RCA) including actual, budgeted and projected amounts. Specifically, we are looking for candidates with experience performing store down and month end close using Kodiak RCA.

Responsibilities

• Perform the calculations of accounts receivable valuation in Kodiak RCA and evaluate monthly settlements of third-party reimbursement.
• Maintain systems related to the calculation of third-party reimbursement.
• Aid in the month-end close process by generating journal entries, reviewing prior period estimates, and ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards using Kodiak RCA.
• Review and analyze preliminary monthly net patient revenue and propose changes, when necessary, within the month-end close process.
• Articulate the net revenue impact of RCA calculations and adjustments to finance leadership and other stakeholders, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
• Prepare reports and packages to support the monthly close process.
• Understand and maintain the reconciliation process of source accounting system to RCA system daily and complete as needed.
• Understand and manage the daily maintenance of mapping related to transaction codes, facility tables, patient types, financial classes, as well as provider and modifier maintenance and complete as needed.
• Prepare patient accounts receivable account reconciliations monthly for all assigned entities and accounts.
• Collaborate with other departments and other financial operators related to net revenue management activities.
• Participate in Kodiak RCA training sessions and utilize in-application education resources to stay proficient in the platform’s evolving features.
• Ensure that accurate information is provided on a timely basis and assist, as needed, in facilitating the efficient conduct of external audits, examinations, and related financial projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting required.
• Healthcare financial or related experience required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
• Larger firm public accounting experience preferred.

• Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting required.

Skills

• Experience with Kodiak RCA for store down and month end close processes.

Pay

Annual Compensation Range: $68,161.60 - $109,054.40
