ASRC Federal Technology Solutions is seeking a Senior .Net Application Developer to support the critical mission of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). We are developing applications that provide tools for drug enforcement agents and the broader law enforcement community to combat illicit drug trafficking. The role directly impacts the national response to the opioid crisis.

About the role

Join a collaborative team developing and enhancing applications within the Concorde framework. You will work in Agile environments across Classified, Unclassified, and Sensitive but Unclassified systems, supporting both modern and legacy applications while applying DevSecOps principles.

Location: Arlington, VA or Merrifield, VA (5 days a week onsite). Active Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance code for applications built within the Concorde framework, ensuring high-quality and efficient solutions.
  • Participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprints, backlog grooming, and Agile ceremonies.
  • Engage in meetings, discussions, and demonstrations related to application development and data management across multiple security environments.
  • Support non-Concorde legacy applications as needed for seamless integration and operational continuity.
  • Apply DevSecOps principles in daily development activities.
  • Deliver small projects quickly and transition frequently between projects and applications.
  • Package and deliver software and documentation to production environments.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of ASP.Net C# MVC-based web development experience using Visual Studio 2017 or higher.
  • 5+ years of .Net Core/Standard development experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with Agile development methodologies, including sprint participation and Agile ceremonies.
  • Experience developing in environments supporting 10,000+ users and RDBMS with 250+ tables and 1M+ total rows.
  • Significant recent experience with JavaScript and CSS.
  • Experience with relational data models, SQL, XML, and XML manipulation libraries.
  • Agile project experience using Team Foundation Server.
  • Top-notch experience with Microsoft .NET languages (ASP.NET, C#, LINQ) and technologies (MVC, Entity Framework, Unity).
  • Experience with SharePoint, NHibernate, jQuery, AJAX, HTML, Oracle, SQL Server, T4 templates, and Classic ASP is desired.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret clearance; selected applicants will undergo a government security background investigation and must meet DEA suitability requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (14+ years of demonstrated experience may substitute).
  • 10+ years of general experience, including 10 years of specialized and/or hands-on experience in Agile development methodologies.
