Senior Natural Resources Technical Advisor - On Call

About The Opportunity

SWCA Environmental Consultants is expanding our Rocky Mountain Natural Resources team and looking for dynamic individuals who follow their passion in delivering the highest-quality project work. Our Denver (Broomfield) CO and Fort Collins, CO offices offer a collaborative work environment with a variety of interesting projects. Due to continued growth, we need a Senior Natural Resources Technical Advisor to join us!

What You Will Accomplish

• Working within multi-discipline teams, collaborating with ecologists, wildlife biologists, and other natural resources scientists.
• Providing technical expertise and guidance for projects requiring expertise in the Endangered Species Act, Bald and Golden Eagle Act, and the Migratory Bird Act, among others.
• Having experience and a passion to lead efforts in task management, technical report writing, QA and QC of work products, and client interface.
• Mentoring and guiding junior natural resources staff.
• Driving compliance of safety policies and reporting requirements to ensure overall team safety.

Experience And Qualifications For Success

• Preferred Requirements:
• Minimum of 20 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting or the public sector.
• Experience mentoring junior staff.

Pay Information

An employee in this Denver, CO-based position can expect an hourly rate of between $46.96 to $61.15/hour. Actual pay within this range may depend on experience, qualifications, geographic location, client requirements where applicable, and other factors permitted by law.
