Senior National Client Manager
About the Role
The Senior National Client Manager serves as a strategic partner in identifying, pursuing, securing, and maintaining client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Develops and manages a portfolio of National Accounts
- Pursues, builds, maintains, and strengthens client relationships
- Networks with contacts in appropriate professional organizations to gain potential clients and develop intelligence regarding firms' competition
- Partners with other departments to develop and execute strategic growth plans
- Interacts with clients regularly, ensuring consistency and accuracy of customer account deliverables
- Stays current with trends in clients' industries and creates and sustains strong relationships within these industries
- Establishes clear timelines to meet client requirements, anticipates obstacles, and provides solutions
- Identifies business initiatives and improvements
- Supports proposal and pursuit efforts
- Communicates with clients during the pre-project/proposal phase to generate business
- Compiles and provides information in the client database, maintaining accurate and complete customer account information
- Maintains and updates the client database for regional and national accounts to develop leads and target marketing
- Maintains and tracks an active list of all projects being executed for specified national clients
- Collaborates in the creation of marketing/business development plans and budgets specific to national accounts
- Maintains consistent interaction with multiple offices, including principals, directors, managers, and others, to support the marketing strategy for national account growth
- Partners with Account Managers and Executives to maintain and nurture client relationships, manage customer accounts, and achieve sales objectives
- Provides research, data consolidation, and recommendation development for internal reports, process documents, and industry trend reporting
- Creates work plans and meets project deadlines
Requirements
- May require occasional out-of-office visits to other ECS facilities throughout the region
- If driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver’s license is required
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of related experience
- Education and experience as a technical professional in one of our primary service lines may be considered as related experience
- BS degree in a field related to our service lines
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and successfully meet deadlines
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and database management
- Proven track record of servicing clients with a high level of satisfaction
- Strong commitment to team-building
- Strong knowledge of our service lines and client needs
- Documented success in managing new opportunities
- Ability to develop positive client relationships with new and existing clients
- Strategic mindset and ability to translate business objectives into actionable plans
